Let’s chat.

With Blogmas being a true commitment of my time and energy, I thought it was important to check in early with myself about how I was feeling with everything. So let’s chat for a hot minute.

Whenever I commit to something, like posting a blog every single day up until Christmas, I need to make sure I am still enjoying myself throughout the process. Like I write in my little sign off after every post, writing is a passion of mine and is a hobby I really enjoy doing. I do it to connect to you, the reader, but also as a way to continue growing my knowledge of various subject matters and topics! I almost find it therapeutic in a way, researching and expanding my knowledge (said like a true nerd.)

I write for enjoyment and for creativity, and I want to make sure that is always the energy you gather while reading my posts! I enjoy passing on those vibrations to you, while typing away about witchcraft, self care, home decor ideas or even just a casual food conversation.

Blogmas… scratch that, CHRISTMAS can be a stressful time of the time and so it’s important to make sure you are keeping an eye on your mental health, your physical well being and your personal energy. Treat yourself to a relaxing bath after a busy day, or meditate more if you need to shut out some of the holiday stresses. Just, make sure you are taking care of YOU, in order for you to take care of others!

I know this post is short, and a tad different from the rest, but it’s nice to just chat directly with you for a moment and express my gratitude. For YOUR time and energy, reading this blog!

If you took the time to read this blog post, my heart is full!!! (Truly.) Let’s continue chatting in the comments below (perhaps with a nice cup of coffee, heh.)

And reader, I want to thank you for reading up to this point in the post. Writing is an outlet I am passionate about, but hardly allow myself to do. I hope you enjoyed reading this post, and look forward to reading future blog posts on this site. I will be posting content every day in December for BLOGMAS — so mark it on your calendar or even better, subscribe to my blog so you get alerted when the next post goes live. Also, look out for future blog/vlog videos, exclusive content and just more positive energy to float your way.

Chat again tomorrow!
Merry Blogmas!

Writing is my passion too so I can totally relate with the appreciation when people read your posts. I’m new to your page but happy to see we have similarities when it comes to why we write 😁
To answer your question, Blogmas has been super fun thus far because I prepared all the posts in November. This season has been exciting even though it’s a little stressful because work is slowing down a lot? My mental health is getting a much needed pick me up 😅

This is the first blog post of yours I am reading. I will have coffee “with you” for the second one after I sleep a bit. I am curious to see how this one differs from the others.

We seem to have quite a few common interests. I don”t celebrate many of the typical holidays rhat are common fpr this part of the continent anymore. Sonetimes I will visit with people celebrating thse things or participate for the sake of a young person in some way.

I celebrate moon cyxles and sun cycles. New year is in the spring when there is nouroshing tree sap in accorsance with traditions of some of the oroginal nations of thwsw lands, such as the Anishinaabe. There are other cultures avross rhe world that celebrate new years in the spring. It makes more sense to me on all levels.

Many of these holidays people celebrate because of teadition but the joldiays have been overcpme by consumerism and lost their soul. Most of them where meant to make one religon dominate another by taking over their traditions. That is paet of why I stopped celebrating.

I have always loved the winter solstive and over rime my celebration of narure saved my life. That is worth celebrating. I do still love Valentine’s day, as a romantic. I cannot keep myself from loving a day about love and making others know they are loved.
